Nestled behind a row of historic victorian homes off of Cherokee Road in the Highlands neighborhood of Louisville, you will find the private serene setting of The Eastern Star Home in Kentucky.
As a not for profit, private pay home, since 1952, we have had the pleasure to assist those who need our services. First, in the Craycroft Mansion, that stands next door to our current building which was built in 1977 to accommodate our growing population.
We are very proud and honored to be able to serve our aging community with a true home atmosphere which is licensed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky as an 18 bed Intermediate Care Facility and a 24 bed Personal Care Home.
This in essence means that we are able to accommodate those residents who need limited assistance with such things as medication management, nutrition, housekeeping, and those who require total 24-care at this stage in their lives.
Along with great care, excellent cuisine, personalized activites and the ability to help our residents live in a safe, comfortable and stress free environment, we truly believe that we have found the key to successful, affordable long term care to offer to anyone who may need our assistance.
